I have thirty six years of national and international experience in large scale planning and design of retail centers and mixed-use developments.
I began my career with Minoru Yamasaki Associates, assisting with schematic designs for the King Fahd International Airport and Hawa Shopping Center in Saudi Arabia. Since then I’ve taken on ever increasing responsibility as a design visionary and leader. I’m a hands-on designer who works closely with clients and is responsible for leading design, mentoring and guiding teams, and overseeing projects from concept through completion.
Distinguishing a particular place from another requires awareness of use, culture, a point in time and context. Architecture has the opportunity to become the backdrop for memory making experiences. I believe that all people have a desire to connect not only with others but with a place, and in particular, places that foster a feeling of ownership and community pride.
For the work shown I served as the Lead or Co-Lead Design Architect (unless further noted) while at the following firms: JPRA Architects, Hobbs + Black Architects, FRCH Design Worldwide (Nelson Worldwide), Reztark Design Studio and Dorsky Yue International.
